Mark H. Levine
Executive Director
Mark Levine has 20 years experience in the financial services and executive search industries. He has broad first-hand industry and product knowledge from his banking career and search experience. Mr. Levine has worked on a variety of assignments, including searches for professionals in real estate, capital raising/asset gathering and structured finance.
Prior to being a founding member of The Gerson Group, Mr. Levine covered financial services clients at A.T. Kearney and Ray & Berndtson. He began his career at The Chase Manhattan Bank where he was credit trained and worked in Special Loans and Commercial Real Estate Finance. He then joined The Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank (now Mizuho Financial) where he rose to Head of Commercial Real Estate Finance running a team responsible for originating, structuring, closing and managing a significant portfolio of loans and real estate throughout the U.S. He was integral in the development of credit policies for the bank’s U.S. real estate finance business. Mr. Levine also played a lead role in managing loan restructurings, distressed debt, bankruptcies and asset management.
Mr. Levine has a BA in History and Sociology from Clark University.
